Every once in a while, I go through phases where I struggle to sleep at night. Whether it be work, stress, or just a busy mind… It can really keep me up! I know how important sleep is to my training and even more so, my recovery. So when I can’t sleep, I know it’s time to use Peak Sleep.

Whey Protein Powder

What it is: BPN Whey Protein Powder

I usually have a hard time digesting dairy, so I was a little hesitant to try whey protein again. However, BPN sources from quality suppliers to get the best ingredients, AND tests for banned substances. That gave me confidence that this one would be different, and it is!

Why I use it: Eating a sufficient amount of dietary protein helps with recovery and muscle protein synthesis which are necessary to build lean muscle. If I’m training and building muscle like an athlete, then I want to be fueling like one too!

What it is: Strong Reds

Why I use it: Intra Flight contains branch chain amino acids that help with recovery and muscle protein synthesis. My use of Intra Flight has changed over the past few months, but I think you’ll fall into one of my two situations! Previously I used Intra Flight DURING my morning fasted workouts. Without food in my system yet, Intra Flight helped me have longer and more effective training sessions. Right now, I save my Intra Flight and enjoy it in the evening or in the afternoon as a recovery drink!

When I drink it: I kind of covered this, but Intra Flight can be used before, during or after training sessions. It’s probably best to drink it during your workout but do what fits your schedule and lifestyle!

How to mix it: The scoop is pretty big! I mix 1 scoop of Intra Flight in about 20-24 oz. (the size of my shaker cup) of cold water and ice.

Plant Based Protein Powder

What it is: BPN Plant Based Protein Powder

Why I use it: I have a really hard time digesting lactose and dairy. This is a plant based protein made up of pea, watermelon seed, and pumpkin seed protein! What it is: In Focus

Why I use it: So many reasons, but mainly energy! In Focus increases my energy, gives me better focus, and actually improves my mood! I always see a huge increase in my productivity on days I drink it and seriously feel like I can conquer the world… or Mom Life at least! Another benefit of In Focus is that it has brain nutrients for memory. Each serving is less than half the cost of an energy drink and provides a ton more value!

Endopump

What it is: Endopump

Why I use it: Endopump increases the volume of the muscles that you’re working. I prefer to focus on specific muscle groups during my workouts, so Endopump helps me increase blood flow and vasodilation while training. I know you’re probably thinking “vaso-what?” because I remember hearing this term in the gym when I first started working out too! Basically, Endopump supports blood flow and oxygen to your muscles, moving more nutrients into the muscles being trained, making for a great workout!

When I drink it: About 20-30 minutes before lifting sessions. I like to stack it with Flight for a little caffeine boost too! I like to save Endopump for my lifting sessions, so I leave it out for cardio based workouts!

How I mix it: Like I mentioned, I stack Endopump with Flight for increased energy, endurance, and focus. I mix 1 scoop in 8-12 oz. of cold water (with Flight).

Who can benefit from it: Endopump doesn’t have caffeine or any other stimulants so it’s fair game for anyone! I highly recommend this supplement for anyone who does resistance training or any workout that involves lifting weight!

Flight (Preworkout)

What it is: Flight (Preworkout)

Why I use it: Flight carries me through my toughest workouts and hardest training sessions. When I’m lifting AND doing cardio, I need that extra boost. This gives me the tunnel vision focus and clean energy I need to complete my training each day.

When I use it: 20 to 30 minutes before a lifting session. I don’t take Flight if I’m only doing cardio or conditioning (more on that later).

How I drink it: ½ scoop with 8ish oz of cold water on ice. I like mine a little more concentrated with less water. My husband likes his a little less concentrated with more water. And the TEAM likes to dry scoop. To each their own!

Who can benefit from it: If you are doing any kind of resistance training, I would say this is my number one supplement recommendation. You can feel the effects immediately, which leads to better workouts, and better results. If you are pregnant, nursing, or caffein sensitive I would not suggest this one!
